I know summer is still in full swing, but I can't help but look toward Autumn - my favorite time of the year. The summer days give way to crisp, fall air and the Michigan trees are in their full color glory.

This Fall - trending cosmetic looks range from earthy to bold. Natural to vibrant. The palette, according to the 2015 Pantone Fall Fashion Report, is a flow of color that nods to eras from the roaring 20's through the bohemian 60's and the glam 70's.

And don't forget the 90's...

LIPS

The 90's dark, vampy, goth lip is making a comeback. I know you remember this one. But, the classic red lip is also still on point, ranging in shades from plum-red to brick-red, and still featuring the 2015 Pantone Color of the Year, Marsala. Also, trending is a very earthy, natural lip, incorporated into a sheer, "barely there" monochromatic look.

CHEEKS

The look for fall cheeks is flushed - a natural blush that comes from within - like you just came inside from a cold, snowy day.

EYES

Eyes go both ways this fall. Bold, dark eyes are featured as either a smokey eye or cat eye, even including dark geometric liner and metallic elements. The earthy, neutral eye pairs well with either the bold, red or dark lip or the natural, luminous, bare faced look.

This fall offers a complete range of looks. Choose your era and intensity - bold or natural - and create your own color journey.
